Nope. Don't stay here. Spend a little more and go to Alona beach.

What was the highlight of George's Den
Good value for money
Brian and his mom are amazing people, going out of their way to help you. The apartment is very basic, nothing fancy, but for us had everything we needed: bed, living room and basic kitchen facilities. Warm shower, if that's important to you. Great for the price. We stayed in the lower and upper apartment and preferred the upper one because of the balcony. We enjoyed the quiet location, outside of the tourist trap Alona Beach, but close enough to reach it by motorbike if we wanted to buy anything or go to a restaurant. We ended up staying 8 days, double than what we initially booked. Thank you Georges Den!
Big downside is that, opposed to what prior reviews convinced us to believe, internet doesn’t work at all, can’t even open a website. We’re working and travelling simultaneously and this is crucial to us. Luckily we had bought simcards of globe and smart as a back-up plan and could use those when making a hotspot, so I recommend that, anywhere in Bohol as internet is unreliable here (not the fault of the hosts). It’s Next to Doljo Beach, but that’s private for guests of the Bellevue Hotel. The public strip is full of glass and litter, so not a place to swim. There wasn't a restaurant on-site anymore unfortunately. Some warning which has nothing to do with the property but I think is important... We booked a motorbike, but be careful: the police pulled me over for no reason at all (just that I look like a foreigner) and confiscated my drivers license... it took me 2 full miserable days to buy it back, being harassed by cops who were openly flirting with me while my partner was sitting right next to me. Very corrupt power-tripping police force with no system of efficiency at all and all locals are terrified of them... luckily the owners of George’s Den were very helpful in this situation too!

DON'T STAY THERE
Nothing, it's the worst place I have ever stayed.
This place is completely disaster. It's not worth the price. It was very dirty.The light in the room it doesn't work, there is nothing to cover yourself in the night. Kitchen facilities are so dirty that I would even touch them. In the floor plenty holes and theyou put piece of paper to cover it rather then repair it. There is water falling through bathroom window, shower is bad and the door was broken and we couldn't open it anymore so we had to wair till morning to ask staff for the help.It's the worst quality price possible.The is dog barking whole night and people upstairs making lots of noice as well. We didn't feel very safe over there.

Very comfortable
We liked the hospitality of the host Marisol & Brian, very accommodating & the food we ordered was served on time and was yummy. Will definitely be staying there on our next Bohol visit
